Still Going
Still Going is an exploration of migration through three generations of women. Through family archives, portraits, and staged imagery, I trace the marks that displacement leaves on the body, identity, and the soul.
From my grandmother’s flight from Afghanistan to my mother’s life in Iran and my own journey to Norway, I examine migration not as a past event, but as an ongoing state of being. This work is a declaration that the space between three cultures is not a void, but a full and meaningful place to exist—a landscape of multiple languages, histories, and resilience.
